Highlights:

• Authorizes the court to terminate a parent-child legal relationship after the filing of a petition alleging grounds for termination in cases when (Sec. 1):  

• The parent has been convicted of a felony in which sexual intercourse occurred and which caused the child to be conceived; or

• The parent committed an act of sexual intercourse without consent, sexual assault, or incest that caused the child to be conceived.

• Requires a parent whose rights have been terminated to continue child support obligations (Sec. 1).
