Vote to pass a bill that allows for the medical use of marijuana for those with debilitating medical conditions and creates an advisory board under the Department of Health that shall establish guidelines for the use of medical marijuana and issue identification cards to qualified patients and their primary caregivers The bill provides that a licensed producer within New Mexico shall be in charge of the production and distribution of medical marijuana subject to licensing by the state.
